Hey guys! I’m Maeghan. I’m an artist and illustrator living my dream in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina with my husband and our two daughters. Sun + Shade was born from the creativity that brought me back to myself after the birth of our daughters. I believe that creativity is a gift and a healer-something that God gives us to mirror His image but also restore something in the image of us that gets broken along the way. My art is a place that tells the whole story. Whether it’s the joy in the colors, the whimsy in the patterns, or the imperfections in the textures, I believe that art, in the expression and the practice, is meant to bring some light and some grace to us all.
